DeepSeek Hype
I’ve been diving headfirst into the hype surrounding DeepSeek, and I have to say, it’s worth the buzz. This open-source model is being compared to ChatGPT, but it offers something unique: transparency. With the “DeepThink” feature, you can follow its logic as it processes prompts, and seeing how its reasoning unfolds is fascinating.

Naturally, I couldn’t resist challenging its logic and reasoning. That’s half the fun, right? I even questioned its “niceness”, what does it mean, and how does it shape interactions? What intrigued me most was how it adapted to my line of questioning, almost as if it was learning how to better match my style of communication. It’s a dynamic experience, one that makes me eager to experiment further.
What’s even more exciting is the possibility of running one of the simpler models locally on my machine. I’ve been reading about the various projects people are working on with DeepSeek, and the creativity is inspiring. Of course, like any groundbreaking tech, it’s not without its controversies. But overall, the response seems overwhelmingly positive, and I can see why.
