Building Characters and Crafting Content — Day 26

I used the built-in Adobe Animate character tool to create a general character for my content. While I plan to make something more original over time, I think this character captures the general idea for now. Ideally, I’d prefer something a little more cybernetic, but this works perfectly fine for the meantime. Adding face paint to the character is something I’m considering since it’s important to me. For now, I have a basic character to use. The character animates when I speak within Adobe Character Animate, functioning as a puppet.

After creating the character, I trained an AI tool to generate similar images, giving me unique expressions of the character. This will allow for more variety and versatility in my content. I’m planning to put my video content together soon. However, I’ve been taking my time to ensure I can mix all the different formats of content I envision into it.

Gamifying the Process

I want to add a gamified and fun twist to my content creation. This is more for me to avoid burnout and to keep the process exciting. By doing so, I’ll be in a position to make my content as large and fantastical as I imagine it. My plan is to integrate actual video content of myself along with screen recordings, bringing multiple dimensions to my videos. I believe I now have everything I need to start generating my videos. Once I establish a routine, I’ll work on further developing and improving my puppets and characters.

The Generalist in Cybersecurity

As I reflect on my work, I’ve realized that cybersecurity doesn’t seem to have a generalist title. The closest equivalent might be something like “Cybersecurity Professional” or “Cybersecurity Specialist.” It’s not perfect, but it’s enough to get the job done.

For now, I’m focused on creating and refining my process, and I’m excited to see how these efforts evolve.
